POLICIES: Text

The Beyond Spot is committed to establishing a creative space, where individuals can voice their thoughts on the startup journey and other topics. We will not tolerate harassment of any form. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience.

Behave professionally and respectfully. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any communication and/or talks. Remember that harassment, lude comments, sexist and racist remarks, or exclusionary jokes are not acceptable values of The Beyond Spot.

Be Kind and Courteous

We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

Respect Everyone’s Privacy

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group is open to the public, so be mindful of information you post, etc. and please use discretion.

Think Before You Post

We all have moments of saying it like it is and giving your opinion(s). But, don’t post something you’ll later regret. Think through your post in the community forum, comments, and more. Verbal diarrhea can come back to bite you.

The Golden Rule

It may seem silly to mention the golden rule, but it doesn’t get any more simple. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
