Yesterday You Said Tomorrow

How long will you push back your dream? Don’t wait till your last tomorrow.

The most nerve-wracking step to take in pursuing your dreams is the first one.

So easily, we get cold feet and as opposed to the great wedding day, there are no witnesses. No one knows of your plans to start a business or become a singer or anything else. Therefore, your dream overwhelms you to the point of hesitation, which ultimately leads you to give up or halt your proceedings and continuously push it to a further date.

Before you know it, days have gone by, months have gone by, and years have gone by. All of this followed by the many what if questions. What if I had started last year? What if I didn't wait til now? What if I fail or look stupid?

Of course, we may justify our stagnation by saying you need a little more preparation before I take such a risk or I just want to make sure everything is perfect. I would like to delight you with the following quote.

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest... Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.

In other words, there's never going to be the perfect weather to launch your business or the perfect season to chase after your dreams. Not to sound like Nike, but just do it. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Signed: you've written up your plans and have thought about your ideas from every possible angle.

Sealed: you've reviewed your work countless times down to the fine details, blueprints, and side notes. Seal the envelope and stop making new additions and using it as an excuse.

Start: call it a done deal and send it out to the world. Work. Hustle. Do what you got to do. Just do anything, but stare and wonder. Talk to friends, go to networking events, self-release an EP, put together a business plan, launch a Kickstarter campaign. Whatever you do, let it not be waiting for that perfect moment.

There are people waiting on the other end of your success. Imagine the countless people!
